PE lessons

Acorn and Beech classes have really impressed Mrs Spencer and their teachers with their gymnastics skills over the last two weeks. This week they have moved onto climbing over and round larger apparatus in the hall. They have been travelling by sliding, rolling and twisting.
Cedar and Larch classes have been reading maps this week and solving number problems. They have worked well in pairs, and have persisted when things have been difficult for them. Well done!
Hazel have developed complicated sequences of movements along an Egyptian theme. They have been developing their skills as attentive 'watchers', and giving each other feedback. Excellent work!
Oak class have been very helpful as Sports leaders this week. Thank you!
They also had fun in the drizzle on Thursday afternoon as they led each other along a 'blindfold trail', and followed the 'string trail', recalling and recording all the items they had seen in detail.
