School Organisation

Clare Community Primary School is an inclusive school admitting children from 4 to 11 years of age, of all abilities and both sexes. The school is divided into seven classes, according to age and learning phase:
The typical school day is divided into three teaching sessions separated by play (10.15am - 10.30am)and lunch (12.00pm - 1.00pm) breaks. We open our doors at 8.40am; school begins promptly at 8.50am and ends at 3.00pm.

Clare Community Primary School has an enthusiastic and willing governing body. It currently consists of parents, former teachers and other professionals, who not only discharge their duty under the Education Act to oversee the administration of the school, but also actively participate in classroom and extra-curricular activities.

The committee and members of our very active P.T.F.A undertake sterling work raising funds and organising out-of-school activities that significantly enrich school life. New members are always welcome.
